La Laja
Level: beginner - expert Tide: mid-low Crowd: mid Board type: shortboard Forecast: https://es.wisuki.com/forecast/2811/la-laja
La Laja has two different breaks. On the north end there´s a hollow, fast left hand wave breaking over a shallow volcanic reef, more suitable for bodyboarders. On the SE end, there´s a beach break that produces a short, fast wave that can be very fun when it´s not too big or windy. Surfable at mid-low-tide.
Playa del Hombre
Level: beginner - advanced Tide: mid Crowd: mid – high Board type: shortboard Forecast: Playa del Hombre Surf Forecast
With the right conditions, waves at this beach break can be very good. Surf schools in the south of the island like to go there, so it's usually crowded with beginners even when conditions are not ideal. Surfable at mid tide.
Las Terrazas
Level: beginner - advanced Tide: any Crowd: mid Board type: shortboard, mid-length
Right behind the shopping centre of Las Terrazas, there is a right hander that works every now and then. But when it does, its a pleasure to ride it.
Mosca Point

Long left hand point break that works when the swell is big and the wind is calm (it's in windiest part of the island so it doesn't happen often). Sharp rocks at the end of the wave. Surfable at low tide.
Pozo Izquierdo
Level: intermediate - expert Tide: low - high Crowd: mid Board type: shortboard Forecast: https://es.surf-forecast.com/breaks/Pozo-Izquierdo/forecasts/latest/six_day
Again in the windiest part of the island (Pozo izquierdo is the windsurf capital of Gran Canaria), when the wind drops a right hand beach break forms at the south end of the beach.
